Volunteer Centre Lewisham Coordinator's Forum is for organisations based in Lewisham or supporting people living in Lewisham. If you are a Volunteer Manager/Coordinator or are responsible for and support volunteers in your organisation you may find this forum helpful.
Aim
The forum is a great chance to meet other people working with volunteers and look at different aspects of involving volunteers and good practice. It is also an opportunity to see what is going on in the borough, meet other people, find out about new developments, and what services are open to you.
In detail
To meet on a quarterly basis to
- Network with peers
- Benefit from training session, and workshops featuring a variety of volunteer management issues, polices and procedures
- Find out about what other local organisation do and how you can link in together
- Discuss issues of good practice and issues facing the third sector
- Bring your own challenges and successes to the forum and learn together to help solve problems.
