To cover the range of systems and structures that help you to effectively recruit and manage volunteers, and to explore good practice in the management of volunteers. We will cover: - role design
- advert design
- induction
- on-going support and maintaining your volunteers
- helping volunteers move on through the organisation when appropriate
13 October 10.00am - 1.00pm Avoiding Volunteering Disasters This will also cover managing volunteer’s behaviour and conduct while working with your organisation. This follows on from the last workshop which will cover in more depth the systems and structures for managing well. The emphasis will be on bringing and discussing different difficulties that we encounter, and how these can be avoided or solved. A light lunch will be provided after the training from 13.00 – 14.00. All training will be held at Volunteer Centre Lewisham.
